Connect Hearback mixers to wall panels near talent. 1. If the main icon light isn't turning on when plugging in the hearback mixer, in it means that the hearback mixer is not correctly patched hearback hub mainframe in the machine room ethernet patchbay. 1. Document the NET port that each hearback mixer is connected to. 2. With the help of the instructor, make the appropriate patch in the machine room. 2. If the main icon light is red, it means that one of the hearback mixers is not connected using an unshielded ethernet cable 1. use the cables with the white 10ft sticker label for maximum confidence 4. Verify that Hearback patching has been completed correctly. 5. Attach headphones to hearback mixers 6. Check that the Hearback mixers are in a good starting state: 1. The master knob is at 12:00 2. The panning is set to the center 3. The aux signal is not engaged 7. Check that levels are coming through on the hearback mixer in the control room 8. Monitor the hearback units on the console. The purpose of this patch is to ensure that the Communication button that the talent uses to talk to each other is heard in the control room. 1.
