# Arturia Keystep to RD8 By default, the RD8 and RD9 receive MIDI data on channel 10. To ensure compatibility, you’ll need to configure the Arturia Keystep to send MIDI data to channel 10 as well. The Keystep has a dedicated track specifically for drum data.
