That was a lot of information! Pat yourself on the back for getting this far.
It is time to practice exporting our audio so that we can hear what we made outside of ProTools. Don't worry if you feel as though the result isn't perfect yet. It's a good idea to get into the habit of making demos of your work, as they serve as checkpoints on your progress.
## Select your entire project timeline
Start off by using the selector tool to click and drag your entire project timeline wherever audio lives that you want to hear on the export. See movie below.

## Open the Bounce Mix Dialog
Open the Bounce Mix Dialog by navigating to File > Bounce Mix.

By default, your audio file will export (bounce) to your ProTools project directory, within the Bounced Files directory. This is a good organizational practice, as it keeps your exported file associated with the project folder. We will examine more of the options in this dialog at a later point, but for now we are ready to click **Bounce**.
