We will now get hands-on with editing! We will be scratching the surface of some of these tools right now, but don't fret! We will examine these concepts more in depth later. Just follow along for now. ## The ProTools tool bar The Smart Tool is the most versatile editing tool that you can select. It is actually three tools in one! To access it, click the boundary seen in the screenshot below, or toggle to it using Command 7 (Ctrl 7 on Windows).   Using these tools, we can perform a variety of edits using files from the Soundbase. Have fun and be creative! There are no rules, only guidelines! We will now dive more in depth about the three aforementioned tools. For now, ensure that your edit mode is set to Slip.
