## XPand
Surprisingly, Xpand offers a great selection of drum samples. To access them, just navigate to the Drum menu within the plugin. However, Xpand doesn’t have a built-in way to create drum patterns. You'll need to program the patterns yourself on the edit timeline using MIDI data. In other words, Xpand requires MIDI input to trigger and play any drum sounds.

## Groove Cell
GrooveCell is a drum machine that resembles an MPC-style or other grid-based machines like the Ableton Push. You can explore a variety of drum sounds by accessing the presets menu, making it easy to find ones that suit your needs.

Groove Cell, like Boom, can manage patterns either internally or through MIDI on the timeline. Be careful not to have both methods active at the same time, as this can cause overlap. To create patterns, click the "Sequencer" label, which opens the sequencer section of the interface. You can also toggle the internal sequencer on or off by pressing the power button.
