### Getting a Task manager plugin I decided to go with the Wizard Proletarian Tasks plug-in in Obsidian. Find out about it [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLlLPYKBSY8&pp=ygUOT2JzaWRpYW4gdGFza3M%3D). There are plenty of other options as well. I have set the shortcut to open my Todo planning panes in a new tab to be Ctrl Option Command T. ### Quickly Creating Tasks I use the Cmd + L shortcut to create a checkbox within any file in your vault that automatically gets associated into the tasks database. ### Daily Notes Tasks Workflow I often like to create these checkboxes within my daily notes file. Sometimes I don't finish what I wanted to start the previous day and I want to see the previous tasks on my new daily note. For this, I have a shortcut to roll over daily daily todos from the previous day into the new day so that I can see it in my new daily view. Of course, if I had assigned my todos into my Wizard Proletarian workflow, it would have already existed there already, but I often like to work directly within my Daily Note. Since the data dynamically syncs, it doesn't hurt anything to have the data in two places. Alternatively, you can use the "Open Daily Notes Editor" plugin to easily see the current daily note alongside all of your previous daily notes, and you can copy and paste from previous daily notes accordingly. More info on this is on [[Daily Notes Plug-in Workflows#Quickly Accessing Notes]].
