In this example, we’ll explore the journey of a signal during a recording session, focusing on the “Split-Channel” configuration. We’ll follow the path of Sally’s soprano vocals as they travel from the microphone, through various pieces of gear, into the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), and finally back out through the speakers for monitoring.
