Midi Overdubbing

Sometimes, you may want to build on what you’ve already created by layering onto the same track. While this can be challenging with audio data, where we typically record overdubs on separate tracks, it’s more straightforward with MIDI. By selecting the “MIDI Merge” option, you can overdub on the same track. Ensure that MIDI controls are enabled to access this option.

This allows you to record additional notes on top of your existing MIDI data, enhancing your composition without creating new tracks.
