Console Mix Down
To record the Console Mix, we need to patch Mix A Left and Right into unused DAW inputs.

In ProTools, you cannot record onto a track without selecting an output. This step requires caution. If you choose an output on the console that routes to Mix A, you risk creating a feedback loop, which could damage the ears of anyone within earshot of the signal
Make sure that the console channels receiving the selected DAW outputs are not set to Mix A on their faders, or it will cause feedback.
Finally, set the DAW Output to External A4-IN, Left Right.
We won't be listening to the outputs on the specific channels; instead, we'll use the External Input circuit. You'll notice activity on the channel strip because the DAW outputs are half-normalled to the Monitor Inputs. However, adjusting the fader level won't impact what we hear through the External Input.
Switch to External A in the monitor section to hear the output from ProTools after it has passed through the computer.
