Introduction

This module introduces field recording as a creative and technical practice. You will learn to operate the Zoom H6 Essential recorder, capture sounds in the field, and bring those recordings into a ProTools or Ableton session for further production work.

Objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• Operate a Zoom H6 Essential field recorder for sound collection
• Import field recordings into a DAW session with proper 32-bit float handling
