Mixing on the Duality

First, make sure that the IO is assigned correctly so that you can make the most out of the Duality mixing board. When importing tracks from a multitrack for instance, you'll need to import the tracks into ProTools. If we are using a console like the SSL Duality where we want each track in the DAW to have a corresponding channel strip to mix on, we have to configure the outputs for each channel in the DAW to arrive at an appropriate channel on the channel strip. See IO Settings article for more info on this. Don't just use 2 channel strips to mix!
